Emma Watson Says Her Short Hair Is 'Amazing'
The verdict on Emma Watson's close-cropped hairdo might still be out among the public, but as far as the Harry Potter star is concerned, the haters can keep their criticism to themselves, because she loves it.
Watson, 20, stood up for her Mia Farrow-esque coiffure at last night's New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, telling Us Magazine,
"It feels amazing! It's so easy! I wake up in the morning, and I'm good to walk out the door!"
In August, Watson explained that she'd chopped her locks because she'd never had a rebellious streak before, recalling,
“I missed all that experimentation that most teenagers go through. I’ve wanted to do this since I was about 16, so as soon as I had the chance I was like, ‘Right. This is it.’”
As for others who might want to dramatically change their looks but are fearful of people's reactions, Watson's advice is to just go for it, telling Us,
"Just be confident. Don't beat yourself up."
Sound counseling, Emma; after all, the beaten-up look doesn't really look good on anybody.
